WHO IS THIS CHICK?

The daughter of a Marine aviator and a physics teacher, Joanna Duff was born in Monterey, CA, grew up in Northern Virginia, and ended up heading south to Georgia for college. Though she technically began her musical journey one Christmas when Santa gifted her a Muppets keyboard (she was good that year), she started writing her own music and playing open mic nights in the Athens area while studying Marketing at the University of Georgia. Dubbed a creative spirit by family and friends, she spent much of her time writing lyrics and poetry throughout school and even moved west back to California to continue exploring that journey. Now based in Los Angeles, she continues to devote much of her free time to songwriting and performing original songs and unexpected covers. She loves to entertain folks at her shows with witty banter to make them laugh + singer-songwriter songs to make them smile.  Her first album "We Are the Lucky Ones" debuted October 13, 2015 and is dedicated to her father, who passed away in October 2014.
