A chill, relaxing, almost cinematic feel. Influences include Natalie Merchant, 90's alternative, folk artists and everything from pop to indie, folk, and country.  

LA-based singer/songwriter Joanna Duff performs a cover of "Titanium" by David Guetta featuring Sia in Atlanta, GA at the Earl at the annual 500 Songs for Kids fundraiser. Accompanied on keys by Sanjay Kothari, a co-founder of Songs for Kids Foundation.

The daughter of a Marine aviator and a science teacher, Joanna was born in Monterey, CA, grew up in Northern Virginia, and ended up heading south to Georgia for college. She started writing her own music and playing open mic nights in the Athens area while studying Marketing at the University of Georgia. Joanna performed regularly at Atlanta’s Smith’s Olde Bar in Midtown with ‘The Lucky Ones’ band Ann Moceyunas (cello), Sanjay Kothari (lead guitar and background vocals) and Jennifer Tullar (background vocals). Now based in Los Angeles working as a Marketing professional for a top consulting firm, she continues to devote much of her free time to songwriting and performing original songs.

Her first album "We Are the Lucky Ones,” produced by Sean McPherson is dedicated to her father, who passed away in October 2014. She is currently working on a follow up release with LA-based producer Kyle Burke.
